Throughout Eze, a medieval village near Nice in the south of France, are these charming doorways into the homes. This image is of just one. The village is located on a rocky cliff-side hill that overlooks the Mediterranean. The streets are steep and only wide enough for pedestrians; it is the most remarkable place to visit.

Between Nice and Monte Carlo, is a wonderful medieval village called Eze. The village sits on top of a rocky cliff. There are no vehicles in the village; you have to walk up and down steep passageways to get around. Nowhere is it flat.. I took this image from the window of a cafe. The bell tower really grabbed my attention so I grabbed my camera. I hope you love this image as much I do.
