For more info, see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brandenburg_Gate To stand out among all the great photographers online, I browsed my huge collection of photos from around the United States and Europe, and I noticed that I had a lot of photos of old castles, old town, towers, gates, tunnels, streets, and more – all from the dark ages of Europe. Wikipedia reports at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Middle_Ages that in the nineteenth century, the entire Middle Ages was called the Dark Ages, but that view has changed. Now, historians call the early Middle Ages the Dark Ages. In any case, we’re talking roughly 500 AD...
