While visiting japan, I spent some time in Tokyo. The trains are a hub of activity, the lifeblood of the city. These rail stations are amazing places. Super busy yet organised and flow smoothly. I really liked the signage, with the various languages. I took a photo of this Electric Town Gate sign, as I like the name so much. So Japanese. I recreated it as a vector image in Adobe Illustrator.

its just beyond HOPE

A stop in small mountain ghost town of Mogollon, New Mexico is like stepping back into another time. The town has a rich mining history and once was a bustling wild west town, now is mostly a seasonal town with a small number of residents remaining year-round. Digital painting, photographic based.

The Citadel is the stronghold of Immortan Joe. It appears in Mad Max: Fury Road. The Citadel is a cluster of three rock towers that sit above an aquifer of relatively fresh water. By channeling the water through the rock, the people of the Citadel have been able to irrigate a small area of the Wasteland. It is the former stronghold of the paramilitary pseudo-religious cult led by the former pre-apocalypse war hero and decorated military veteran of the Australian Army, Colonel Joseph "Immortan Joe" Moore. later on a more civilized and sophisticated urban society was built after Immortan Joes demise, becoming a town and a home for refugees from across the deserts and a bastion of hope and learning within the Wasteland.
