The Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-3 (Russian: Микоян и Гуревич МиГ-3) was a Soviet fighter and interceptor aircraft used during World War II, built in 1940.

The MiG-23 was the Soviet Air Force's "Top Gun"-equivalent aggressor aircraft from the late 1970s to the late 1980s.

MiG-23 was designed to replace the MiG-21, at the request of the VVS, between 1961 and 1964. The aircraft had to have the ability to operate from rough terrain with a more advanced weapon system.

MiG-15, also called (NATO designation) Fagot, single-seat, single-engine Soviet jet fighter, built by the Mikoyan-Gurevich design bureau and first flown in 1947.

Designed by the Soviet Union's Mikoyan-Gurevich bureau, the first prototype flew in 1964 and the aircraft entered service in 1970.
