Fishermen making their way back past the lighthouse to the car park. These guys were staying on the Mull at one of the nearby coastal bays used by campers. They seemed to know the local waters really well even though they weren't locals.

The hill next to the lighthouse - Mull of Galloway, Scotland. Telephone and electric poles always seem to be in the wrong place. This one always seemed to spoil the framing of a photo. It was located quite close to the lighthouse so it restricted where you could shoot. I decided to make friends with this one and include it in the photo.

A Fort Victoria class Auxiliary Oiler Replenishment (AOR) Ship of the British Royal Fleet Auxiliary off the coast of the Mull of Galloway, Scotland. May 2021. RFA Fort Victoria is a Fort-class combined fleet stores ship and tanker of the Royal Fleet Auxiliary tasked with providing ammunition, fuel, food and other supplies to Royal Navy vessels around the world. She is now the only member of her class. Her sister ship Fort George was decommissioned in 2010 as part of budget cuts in the Navy. In the foreground are the fearless clifftop sheep :)

Sunrise over the Scares - a group of rocks in Luce bay near Mull of Galloway, Scotland. The Scares. Big Scare, a 69 feet tall rock, and the three companion islets are called the Little Scares and are located around half a mile from it. The islands are part of Luce Bay and Sands Special Area of Conservation and are leased to the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds. A colour version of the photograph is also available.
