Bakersfield Dodgers

The Brooklyn Dodgers, a professional baseball team, was established in 1898 until they moved to Los Angeles in 1957. This collage is of the 1911 Brooklyn Dodgers. They started out as the Brooklyn Trolley Dodgers named after how people had to dodge the trollies going up and down the streets of Brooklyn. It was eventually shortened to Brooklyn Dodgers.

The 1912 Philadelphia Athletics were a Major League baseball team that played in the American League. The 1912 A's had a mediocre season and finished in 3rd place. The Philadelphia Athletics moved to Kansas City in 1955 and then in 1968 moving on to Oakland California.
