Description: I drew this mysterious creature while recovering from cornea transplant surgery, an event which has caused me to think much about vision and perception. I'm not sure what it is or what it means. Perhaps the eye represents hidden knowledge or otherworldly surveillance, while the tendrils represent reaching into unseen realms. While she did not consider herself an activist, she was widely viewed as a feminist icon for her unapologetic exploration of female desire, inner emotional lives, and self-revelation long before such themes were widely accepted in mainstream literature per Wikipedia.
