Looking down from the Marina Bay Sands 'Surfboard" to the Fullerton Hotel where the Singapore River empties into the now fully enclosed Marina Bay basin.. The Marina Bay Sands complex and the skyscrapers at left are all on reclaimed land. The "battery building", once the well known tallest building in Singapore is barely discernible amongst the downtown skyscrapers in the centre of the picture.
