Description: I found this 1880s postcard under the name Sultry Santa. It is quite hard to tell what this Santa is up to and his features seem to be both masculine and feminine. This unique postcard was covered in mildew and dirt and so I did my best to restore it while still leaving the main parts in their original condition. So if you spot signs of wear, please know it was left there on purpose! Typically I like to leave postcards as I find them but this one was in really bad shape.
Description: A replica of a vintage Christmas postcard from the early 1900s. A cute winter scene of a boy and a girl and A Merry Christmas is written on it as well. I did minimal touch ups to the original postcard. I wrote A Merry Christmas over the original writing as the original writing was quite worn away. I also did small touch ups along the edges as it was quite torn. Any remaining signs of wear were left on purpose in order to keep that authentic vintage feel. A great little card or postcard, or a unique design on a scarf or home decor.
