This whitetail deer, aka white-tailed deer, was just one of several that would pass through our campsite at South Llano River State Park in Texas. This state park is almost more like a wildlife refuge. We, also, had Axis deer, wild turkey, armadillos, and a large variety of small birds such as inca dove, blue buntings, painted buntings, grosbeaks and the list goes on and on. A great place to camp if you enjoy wildlife viewing!
