This is an original vintage advert for Wolseley Motorcars from 1939. Pencil drawing with digital paint. For a number of years we had a collection of old cars in our drive. Amongst others this Wolseley, a Romany tourer Dormobile , a Hillman Minx and a Triumph Herald. Over the years, with other things taking precedence..most notably my Brother and me as Children, the Cars were put on the back-burner and became steadily more decrepit. We moved the Cars in 2007. I remember travelling in the Wolseley featured here in about 1975 or 1976 when it still ran, a plush Car the like of which we don't see nowadays. This is from a photo taken in 2006...falling to bits but a large part of my Childhood!
