Wood Poppy Kids Hoodies

The wood poppy is a great addition to any garden. It blooms in Spring and early Summer. The wood poppy is native to the Eastern United States. During the Victorian Era, yellow poppies were a sign of wealth and success.

The yellow wood poppy was first cultivated back in 1854. The yellow sap in this plant was used by Native American Indians as a dye.

I think I'm going through a poppy phase. These are a different variety than I've photographed before, I found them growing in the back of my garden - so pretty!
