The 'Duke of New York' was an inmate in New York that considered himself "A-Number One." In 1997, his faction kidnapped President Harker, who crash-landed inside the penitentiary.

The Escape From New York Design celebrates John Carpenter's Sci Fi Action film starring Kurt Russell, Lee Van Cleef, Donald Pleasence, Ernest Borgnine, Isaac Hayes, Adrienne Barbeau, and Harry Dean Stanton. Set in the near future, the film tells the story of former Special Forces soldier Snake Plissken who is tasked with trying to rescue the US President from Manhattan, which has become a maximum security prison.
