A 1891 Christmas vintage postcard from the Woodson Spice Company. This beautiful illustration shows Santa dressed in green rather than the red we are used to seeing him in. I suppose his taste in fashion has changed over the past 100 plus years! I have not retouched the original in any way, so any signs of wear were left there intentionally to give it a more authentic old feel.

A beautiful Christmas vintage postcard from 1891 for by the Woolson Spice Company. This cute little girl has her arms filled with gifts and is dressed in a pretty red coat. The illustration is wonderfully done. I haven’t retouched the original in any way, so any signs of wear are left to achieve a more authentic vintage feel.

While it was sold in bulk at Roudel F[re]res & Gennestout in Bordeaux, it was also available at retail pharmacies, where its purity was guaranteed by the pharmacists themselves
