In later years, Rosie also became an iconic American image in the fight to broaden women’s civil rights, feminism and labor unions.
Description: My husband’s aunt was a Rosie the Riveter, working on airplanes during WWII. She knew more about how to read and follow blueprints than many of her male bosses, but they didn’t listen to her. Women have been fighting for an equal place in society for a long time. We still have a long way to go, but we can and will be treated as equals. See my other feminist designs.
