Description: The 'Zavala' or 'De Zavala' flag, is a flag purported to be designed by Lorenzo De Zavala in March 1836 during the drafting of the Texas Declaration of Independence from Mexico. In reality, there are no surviving examples of the original flag, so we cannot say for certian that it looked like this.
