Description: The 'Zavala' or 'De Zavala' flag, is a flag purported to be designed by Lorenzo De Zavala in March 1836 during the drafting of the Texas Declaration of Independence from Mexico. In reality, there are no surviving examples of the original flag, so we cannot say for certian that it looked like this. However, this design has proved popular over the years and is widely regarded as the first flag of what would become the State of Texas. Get the perfect gift for the favourite Texan in your life.
