This is a wide angle shot of Cape Perpetua, which is a large forested headland projecting into the Pacific Ocean on the central Oregon Coast in Lincoln County, Oregon. It is located about 2 miles (3.2 km) south of Yachats, Oregon, along U.S. Route 101. This image was taken from the parking area along the highway and next to the Devil's Churn, a long crack in the coastal rock that fills with each ocean wave, occasionally exploding as incoming and outgoing waves collide.
