The sun is gradually setting over Venice. Here we see on the left the island of San Giorgio Maggiore with the campanile of its magnificent Palladian church which dates from 1566 and the subject for many artists including Monet. It is now the HQ of the Cini Foundation Arts Centre with a noted library. Further on we can see the distinctive domes of the Basilica of Santa Maria della Salute. Here the Giudecca Canal, the Grand Canal and the Canale de San Marco meet in the Venetian Lagoon.

I loved this blue colour projected onto the south face of St Mary’s Cathedral leading up to Christmas 2012. The series of images & patterns lasted for 10 minutes & ran from 7.30 till midnight. It ran from Dec 13th till christmas night. The historic San Francisco de Asis church in Rancho de Taos, New Mexico on a sunny late winter afternoon. With its twin bell towers and arched entry, this adobe church from the early 1800's blends Spanish colonial architecture and the building techniques of the Taos Pueblo people. Made famous by Ansel Adams and Georgia O'Keefe it is a National Historic Landmark and still an active church today.

All Saints' Church, Bakewell, Derbyshire, Peak District, England This stunning scene was Bakewell as a storm approached us. The clouds were swirling above us as I just about got a couple of shots of the drama unfolding before the heavens opened. Bakewell is a market town and civil parish in the Derbyshire Dales district of Derbyshire, England, known also for its local Bakewell pudding. It lies on the River Wye, about 13 miles south-west of Sheffield. In the 2011 census, the population of the civil parish appeared as 3,949. It was estimated at 3,695 in 2019. The town is close to the tourist attractions of Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall.

Morwenstow Church Number of views as of 7th July 2019 = 910. The Parish Church of St Morwenna and St John the Baptist, Morwenstow, North Cornwall. Originally posted to the Bubble Jeopardy group so that super-sleuth members could track down the name of the Church, its location and the name of its eccentric former clergyman. The Reverend Robert Stephen Hawker was the vicar here from 1834 to 1875, and made a lasting contribution to the Church by originating the Harvest Festival. He was also known for his condemnation of plundering from wrecked ships and as an accomplished poet - he even built a driftwood hut overlooking the nearby cliffs from where he wrote.
