Adipose the fat just walks away Doctor who

This was a great scene in Season 9 of Doctor Who when we finally learned why the Doctor has the face of a person he saved long ago. (Peter Capaldi first appeared in Doctor Who in Season 4 during the Fires of Pompeii.) Later in that episode, the Doctor says something that I found particularly apt: "But you see, that's the trouble with viewing reality through technology - it's all too easy to feed in a new reality." There's this short moment at the end of the two-part story Silence in the Library and Forest of the Dead. Both Donna and the Doctor have experienced deep loss. Donna lost her stuttering husband she met while in the fake reality of the library planet's hard drive. And the Doctor lost River Song, a stranger who knew his name and clearly had a heavy and major impact on his future. Donna asks the Doctor if he's alright. He responds with "I'm always alright." And Donna asks if that's time lord code for "really not alright." The Doctor asks why and Donna says in a somber tone, "Because I'm alright too." The 10th Doctor's popularity is unquestionable. Everybody loves him. Girls love him. Guys want to be him. Clara called him the hero in the Day of the Doctor and I felt that was an appropriate title for this painting. With the War Doctor, the 10th Doctor, and the 11th Doctor in the same barn (isn't time travel fun), she remarked about the 10th being the hero - "We've got enough warriors.
