Necessary Merch
Description: The Black Panther Party fought against police brutality, promoted activism that organized, educated and fed their community while being mercilessly hunted by the FBI. While the Panthers fought against police brutality, they also invested heavily in community organizing and aid. Their free breakfast program fed thousands of hungry kids before school; they set up health clinics, child development centers and food pantries. They handled pest control, gave away coats and shoes in the winter, and started a free bus route to prisons for people to visit their incarcerated family members and loved ones.
Description: Blaise Pascal quote: It is necessary to have regard to the person whom we wish to persuade, of whom we must know the mind and the heart, what principles he acknowledges, what things he loves; and then observe in the thing in question what affinity it has with the acknowledged principles, or with the objects so delightful by the pleasure which they give him.

Description: Prolonged periods of sitting at desks severely limit physical activity for both office workers and students. When a document is sent to the network printer, retrieving it provides a rare opportunity for movement. Instead of a casual stroll, this brief excursion is often approached with a sudden burst of kinetic energy. Navigating past chairs and dodging colleagues in the corridor transforms a standard errand into a demanding physical challenge. Increasing the walking pace elevates the heart rate slightly, simulating a brief exercise session during a highly sedentary schedule. Reaching the machine, grabbing the fresh paper, and briskly returning to the workstation completes this highly necessary daily physical activity.
Description: Whether you are involved in any type of profession, or working as English teachers and English students, this truth hits hard. Technology constantly interrupts our daily flow, but sometimes those interruptions are absolute hidden benefits. An employee buried under a massive mountain of job responsibilities secretly rejoices when their screen suddenly turns completely blue. An educator tired of grading essays breathes a deep sigh of relief when the system demands an immediate restart. A pupil working on a heavy paper gladly accepts the long loading bar as a sign to step away. We silently watch the spinning circle with a smile. This hilarious quote perfectly captures the joy of a forced digital break from your profession.
