Description: The Black Panther Party fought against police brutality, promoted activism that organized, educated and fed their community while being mercilessly hunted by the FBI. While the Panthers fought against police brutality, they also invested heavily in community organizing and aid. Their free breakfast program fed thousands of hungry kids before school; they set up health clinics, child development centers and food pantries. They handled pest control, gave away coats and shoes in the winter, and started a free bus route to prisons for people to visit their incarcerated family members and loved ones.

Instead of a casual stroll, this brief excursion is often approached with a sudden burst of kinetic energy. Navigating past chairs and dodging colleagues in the corridor transforms a standard errand into a demanding physical challenge. Increasing the walking pace elevates the heart rate slightly, simulating a brief exercise session during a highly sedentary schedule. Reaching the machine, grabbing the fresh paper, and briskly returning to the workstation completes this highly necessary daily physical activity.
