This image was conceived by Susi Matthews, who has played Queen Elizabeth at the KC Ren Faire.  She described her idea thus, "The concept being that I've immolated/rebuilt too many times and while I love the idea of transformation and rebirth, I really would like to just enjoy beauty for awhile.

The Spirit Dancer, a 42 foot Canadian canoe, passing Scapa distillery as she reaches the end of her first journey in Orkney. She was paddled from Stromness through Scapa Flow to Scapa on Saturday 4th July 2009, as part of a journey round the British Isles.
