The Ford Mustang is an American car manufactured by Ford. It was originally based on the platform of the second generation North American Ford Falcon, a compact car. The original 1962 Ford Mustang I two-seater concept car had evolved into the 1963 Mustang II four-seater concept car which Ford used to pretest how the public would take interest in the first production Mustang.

Just as it had with the Road Runner in 1968, Plymouth hit a muscle car home run in 1970 with the budget-priced Duster 340. The formula for the 1970 Plymouth Duster 340 was familiar. Take a cheap-to-produce platform, in this case, a Valiant wearing a new fastback body, and treat it to a hot engine, here Mopar's respected 340-CID four-barrel V-8. The determined little Duster was lighter, roomier, and faster than the 340 'Cuda. With a base price of just $2,547, it was the lowest-priced car in Plymouth's Rapid Transit System. And it was the only one with front disc brakes standard.

Mel Gibson stars as "Mad" Max Rockatansky, a police officer turned vigilante in a near-future Australia in the midst of societal collapse. Drag racing was a far different motorsport back in 1967, when construction concluded on the original quarter-mile. "Supertrack,"a ground up drag strip project funded by a hard-to-believe budget of over $1,000,000. In 1967, drag racing was still struggling to shuck its notorious public image as weekend recreation for juvenile delinquents wearing the inevitable black leather jackets and greasy jeans, but OCIR worked to change those perceptions by building a best-in-class facility that would soon play host to some of the top racing events in the country, including the PDA Championships where legendary drivers and their notorious cars brought the thunder to Orange County.

The Chevrolet Corvette (C7) is the seventh generation of the Corvette sports car manufactured by American automobile manufacturer Chevrolet. It was introduced for the 2014 model year as the first to bear the Corvette Stingray name since the 1968 third generation model. The first C7 Corvettes were delivered in the third quarter of 2013.

1978's Lil' Red Express Truck was one of the most unique trucks ever produced. The Lil' Red Express was not only a real looker but also a real performer, so much so that it was named fastest American made vehicle from 0 to 100 MPH as tested by Car and Driver Magazine. Because of a loophole in the emissions regulations, the 1978 Dodge Lil' Red Express Truck's didn't have catalytic converters, what they did have was a special high-performance 360 small block which was a modified version of the police 360 producing 225 net horsepower @ 3800 RPM. The package also included Hemi style mufflers with a crossover pipe breathing through 2 chrome stacks located behind the cab, a special 727 transmission, and 3.55:1 rear gearing.

The Plymouth Barracuda is a two-door pony car manufactured by Plymouth from 1964 to 1974. The first-generation Barracuda, a hardtop fastback, was based on the A-body platform (shared with the Valiant). The first generation car featured distinctive wraparound back glass and was marketed from 1964 to 1966. The second-generation Barracuda, built from 1967 to 1969, though still Valiant-based, was heavily redesigned. Body designs were now available in fastback, hardtop coupé, and convertible versions. The third generation, offered from 1970 to 1974, was no longer based on the A-body, but on the Chrysler E-body.

Weber Speed Equipment started out in 1945 as Weber Tool Company, making some of the first aluminum performance fly wheels. As the company continued to expand their speed parts catalog with cams, clutches, and heads, becoming increasingly popular with hot rodders and racers alike, they changed their name to Weber Speed Equipment. Aside from making high quality, extreme high-performance parts, one of their biggest claims to fame was their 'blow up proof' guarantee on their flywheels, something that was a big draw to those pushing higher horsepower and revs in the early days of drag racing.

The 1967 model was redesigned with enhanced Coke bottle styling that featured Corvette-inspired front and rear fender bulges. The curves were the most pronounced with the 1967–1968 models. In keeping with federal regulations, safety features were built into Impalas during the 1967 and 1968 model years, including a fully collapsible energy-absorbing steering column, side marker lights, and shoulder belts for closed models. The L72 engine was not available in 1967, but a L36 Turbo-Jet V8 was optional.
