Description: To commemorate the 40th anniversary of Concord's first commercial flights on January 21st 1976, I have created a set of illustrations depicting Concord from the first flight in 1969 through to the final flight in 2003. This image set against a classic white background is of 5 variants of my drawings for this series showing a pre-production Concorde of 1969 through to the last livery of 2003.

This image is of Air France Concorde F-BVFA, in 1988 it flew around the world in a record breaking (at the time) 41 hours 27 minutes. It can be seen on display in Chantilly, Virginia, USA.
Description: Vee-Jay Records is an American record label founded in the 1950s, located in Chicago and specializing in blues, jazz, rhythm and blues and rock and roll. The label was founded in Gary, Indiana, in 1953 by Vivian Carter and James C. Bracken, a husband-and-wife team who used their initials for the label's name. Vivian's brother, Calvin Carter, was the label's A&R man. Ewart Abner, formerly of Chance Records, joined the label in 1955, first as manager, then as vice president, and ultimately as president.

It is associated with the Minutemen of Bedford, Massachusetts, and the Battles of Lexington and Concord of 1775. The Latin motto of "Vince Aut Morire" translates to "Conquer or Die," showing how the new revolutionary government was firmly resisting the royal government.
Description: Specialty Records was an American record label founded in Los Angeles in 1945 by Art Rupe. It was known for rhythm and blues, gospel, and early rock and roll, and recorded artists such as Little Richard, Guitar Slim, Percy Mayfield, and Lloyd Price. Rupe established the company under the name Juke Box Records but changed it to Specialty in 1946 when he parted company with a couple of his original partners. Rupe's daughter, Beverly, restarted the label in the 1980s. The record label was sold to Fantasy Records in 1991 and is now part of the Concord Music Group. The music publishing unit was sold to Sony/ATV Music Publishing.
