Description: I've always loved everything about this kind of modernized yet retro 80's aesthetic which has risen over the past few years. Movies like Kung Fury, the classic Out Run style, the endless genres of music with -wave on the end of the name, and the ultra vibrant art style that comes with it. With this design I wanted to combine a few different things: That Outrun miami sunset style, but also with a kind of horror/conspiracy/illuminati aspect. I also freaking love this ultrabright blue/pink on black color palette, and thus... I present to you; Deadvibes.
Description: The Scottish Rite is a branch of Freemasonry that traces its origins to the 18th century and is known for its elaborate rituals, philosophical teachings, and distinctive system of 33 degrees. Building upon the foundations of traditional Freemasonry, the Scottish Rite explores themes of morality, personal growth, justice, and the pursuit of knowledge through allegorical ceremonies steeped in symbolism and history. Despite its name, the organization developed largely in France and later flourished in the United States, where the Supreme Council of the Southern Jurisdiction was established in Charleston. This particular design is from a banner or apron design as described in The Book of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite from 1885.
Description: An illustration inspired by this quote: "To learn to see- to accustom the eye to calmness, to patience, and to allow things to come up to it; to defer judgment, and to acquire the habit of approaching and grasping an individual case from all sides. This is the first preparatory schooling of intellectuality. One must not respond immediately to a stimulus; one must acquire a command of the obstructing and isolating instincts." - Friedrich Nietzsche, Twilight of the Idols
