A male Bith born on the species' homeworld of Bith, Figrin D'an proved to have a fine aptitude for music and high manual dexterity for playing a range of instruments, and became the bandleader and organizer of the all-Bith band Figrin D'an and the Modal Nodes. D'an favored the Kloo horn, although could also play a mean Gasan string drum. He proved overbearing and compulsive to his band-mates, although the Modal Nodes earned a reputable standing in the music industry, and achieved reasonable success on the galactic circuit.

Description: Mos Eisley was a spaceport on the desert planet of Tatooine. It was located on the Great Mesra Plateau, north of Anchorhead, and southeast of the Jundland Wastes. The spaceport, while lacking a primary landing facility, contained 362 hangars in which arrivals could berth. The city had wide, sandy streets and many buildings of various sizes. Paradise Road, Straight Street, Kerner Plaza Outer Curved Street, Inner Curved Street, Corporations Road, Dune Street, and the Spacers Row were streets that passed through parts of the town. The crashed Dowager Queen colony ship was a landmark. Mos Eisley was home to various species of aliens from throughout the galaxy. One part of the city was known as the Old Quarter.
