A Kupohan named Sakhet occasionally did contract work for the Bothan spynet, running a small noodle hut as a front of her intelligence services. The members of the spynet found out about the location of the Second Death Star for the Rebel Alliance to prepare their assault on Death Star II, despite suffering heavy casualties.

The Core Galaxy Systems dreadnaught Enforcer One was salvaged here by the gangster Bogga the Hutt. Conditions on the planet were favorable to a majority of the galaxy's citizens. Ord Trasi was a planet rich in natural resources: metals, minerals, ores and crystals. This allowed the planet to become a major shipbuilding world. Space platforms completely encircled the planet, defended in turn by a number of defense platforms. Mining and smelting was carried out by droid labor on the planet's two moons.
