Description: Boston Tea Party. 19th-century illustration of the destruction of tea in Boston Harbour on 16 December 1773, an event known as the Boston Tea Party. This was a political protest by a group of colonists in defiance of the British requirement to purchase tea from the East India Company. This was one of the events that led to the outbreak of open warfare two years later in 1775 as part of the American Revolution (1775-1783). This lithograph, by Sarony and Major, was published in New York in around October 1846.

Description: This was originally an engraving titled "Portraits of the Haymarket Martyrs" by Walter Crane in memorial of those that fought for an eight hour work day on May 4, 1886 at Haymarket Square in Chicago. I have refinished and digitized this century-old design into modern fidelity for printing. This version is in color, but the original was just in black and white - which is also available in the store.
Description: This is an artistic rendition of a clan of Celtic warriors on the march to battle! I leave it open to interpretation what tribe of Celts these guys are. They could be Gauls or Britons on the march to kick some Roman butt. They could be Picts on the march to battle with invading Saxons. They could be Gaels looking to put down a rival clan. Regardless of how you see it, the ogham inscription at the center sews a common thread among all interpretations. It reads, “VICTORY!”
Description: The design comes from a historical 1968 Chinese propaganda poster titled "Political Power Grows From The Barrel Of A Gun". I have completely redrawn, recolored, refinished, and digitized in order to help preserve this piece of history. Check out more of my art and products at https://spacedoglaika.com/
