The sea stack in Collywell Bay, Seaton Sluice, Northumberland is known locally as Charlie's Garden from the time when it was much bigger and the top was alive with vegetation. This image was taken on a cold, clear November morning as the rough seas were splashing around the stack, (and over the shoes of the photographer!)

Stormy Seas is my attempt to digitally create an image in the style of the Old Masters. A sailing ship caught in a storm surrounded by angry seas and storm clouds. How terrifying it would be to be in a storm like that.

Petty Harbour–Maddox Cove is a town of approximately 950 people located on the eastern shore of the Avalon Peninsula in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada.
