The exterior of Tom's Restaurant on the corner of West 112th Street and Broadway, near Columbia University, is often shown on the show as the exterior of Monk's, though the interiors were shot on a sound stage.[1] The restaurant consists of a number of booths, tables, and a counter. Jerry, Elaine, George and Kramer normally sit in the first or second booth from the entrance.

"Rick's Café Américain" attracts a varied clientele, including Vichy French and German officials, refugees desperate to reach the neutral United States, and those who prey on them. Description: Landman is set within the world of oilfields in West Texas, where "roughnecks and wildcat billionaires are fueling a boom so big it’s reshaping our climate, our economy, and our geopolitics." The lead character, Tommy Norris, can be abrasive, as is the out-of-town lawyer investigating a fatal accident early in the season.
Description: Much of the town of Roslyn, Washington, is instantly recognizable for fans of '90s dramedy Northern Exposure - because it looks about the same as it did back when Mort the Moose wandered through the opening credits as Roslyn stood in for the fictional town of Cicely, Alaska. One of the more colorful highlights of the intro is the Roslyn Cafe mural with a temporary addition to make it read 'Roslyn's Cafe' for TV. The real location's sandstone building started life as a general store, and later a butcher shop, before hosting fraternal orders of miners, and eventually becoming a cafe in the late '70s. Despite its prominence in the opening credits and ongoing association with the show, Roslyn's Cafè is never featured in a single episode.
