The Super Inframan (Chinese: 中國超人) is a Hong Kong science fiction action film produced by Shaw Brothers Studio in 1975. Inspired by the huge success of the Japanese tokusatsu franchises such as Ultraman and Kamen Rider, this film features the same type of "henshin"/transformation, monster/robot action and costumed heroics, coupled with kung fu action. The plot focuses on ten million year-old Princess Dragon Mom as she attempts to conquer the earth with her legion of monsters. In response, Professor Chang creates Inframan, turning a young volunteer into a bionic superhero to save the world. However, the Princess kidnaps Chang's daughter. Can Inframan save her and the planet? Watch this bizarre piece of cinematic history to find out!

Not only is the action choreography top notch, the music, one-liners and cast of colorful characters combine to make this a cult favorite many times over. According to the Hong Kong motion picture rating system introduced in 1988, the restriction applicable to Category III films is defined as: "No persons younger than 18 years of age are permitted to rent, purchase, or watch this film in the cinema."
