A solitary tree stands strong against the winter in Wensleydale, the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Located on the road from Hawes to Ingleton close to Ribblehead. In the distance can be seen the summit of Ingleborough Top, one of the Yorkshire Three Peaks. Canon 5D Mk 3 24-105 L series lens.

A digital coloured pencil drawing of the Ribblehead Viaduct as crosses Batty Moss in the Ribble Valley, North Yorkshire carrying the Settle-Carlisle line. It sits just south of Whernside, the highest peak in Yorkshire, the lower slopes visible in the background. This amazing construction was designed by the Midland Railway's Chief Engineer, John Sydney Crossley. The last stone was laid by the end of 1874, and on 1st May 1876 the whole line opened for passenger traffic.

The Ribblehead Viaduct - a spectacular example of Victorian engineering crossing Batty Moss in the Ribble Valley, North Yorkshire carrying the Settle-Carlisle line. The construction used a workforce of 2300 men of which over 100 unfortunately lost their lives.
