Description: If there is one word to describe Cutter, it would have to be persistent. He actually wrote to his congressman for an appointment to get into Annapolis for two years! In the end, he realized his family lacked power and influence. That didn't stop him, he decided to join the Coast Guard Academy in Connecticut instead. That same persistence made him one of the best Coast Guard patrolmen and netted a good number of drug smugglers. When he learned the G.I. Joe Team didn't even have one Coast Guard representative, he badgered the top brass so much until they pulled all the strings just to get him in and shut him up.

His arrogant, brash personality and stereotypical sailor attitude has gotten him in trouble so many times. He prefers to take up his own actions and fight the enemy in his own way. He also has a reputation for telling tall tales and for his poor culinary skills. It seems he is the only one who can stomach his own cooking. His superiors had enough and shipped him to Navy S.E.A.L. School in the hopes the training there would make him a better man. It made him better alright... a better fighter only.

Outback was working as an instructor at the Survival School as well as the Jungle Warfare Training Center. Outback received extensive experience on missions in Central America and other undisclosed locations. Outback is not intimidated by wilderness and believes he must become part of the environment rather than its adversary.

She is Airborne and Ranger qualified, and an expert with the M-16, M-1911A1 auto pistol and reflex crossbow. She is also an accomplished actress and fluent in several languages. She has a knack for impersonation, right down to the subject's voice and mannerisms.

Scarlett is additionally skilled in martial arts and acrobatics. She started training at age 9 with her father and three brothers, who were all instructors, and she earned her first black belt at age 15. Scarlett also graduated summa cum laude and passed her Bar Exams to practice law before joining the military. She graduated from Advanced Infantry Training and Ranger School and received special education in Covert Ops School, Marine Sniper School, Special Air Service School, and Marine Tae Kwon Do Symposium.
Description: Dial Tone is the G.I. Joe Team's electronics and communications expert. His real name is Jack S. Morelli, and his rank is that of corporal E-4. Dial Tone was born in Eugene, Oregon. Dial Tone built his own crystal radio set when he was ten. By fourteen he was part of a CB net and had his own ham station by the time he was sixteen. Dial Tone made all his own equipment, buying parts with quarters which he earned by bagging groceries. He joined the army to further his education in his chosen field and became the Joe team's communications expert. Despite this, he has been seen many times fighting on the battlefield.
Description: Frostbite is the G.I. Joe Team's Snow Cat driver and debuted in 1985. His real name is Farley S. Seward (a pun on "Seward's Folly") and was born in Galena, Alaska. His rank is that of corporal E-4. He is the driver of the G.I. Joe "Snow Cat" halftrack vehicle. His primary military specialty is motor vehicle driver, and his secondary military specialty is armor. He held a job as a lineman on the Alaska pipeline, but before long he found no challenge in the job, despite the below freezing temperatures and hazardous conditions. He joined the Army when they promised to challenge him as much as he wanted. Frostbite graduated from both the transportation school at Fort Eustis and the armored school at Fort Knox.
Description: His real name is Clifton L. Nash, and his rank is that of sergeant E-5. Iceberg was born in Brownsville, Texas, and was first released as an action figure in 1986. A new version of Iceberg was released in 1993 as part of the Battle Corps line. His primary military specialty is infantry, and his secondary military specialty is cold weather survival instructor. Iceberg hates hot weather; when he signed up for the Army, he asked for duty in Alaska. He is a qualified expert in the M-16A2, M-79, M-60, and M-1911A1.
Description: His real name is Brian M. Forrest and he holds the rank of Petty Officer Second Class (E-5). Wet Suit was born in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Wet Suit knew from an early age he wanted to join the Navy and enlisted upon his graduation from high school. He eventually applied for SEAL training, was accepted and completed arguably the military's toughest training program. Like any other SEAL, Wet Suit gained a reputation for being tough and mean, though many instructors considered him the toughest and meanest. Seeking even greater challenges, Wet Suit signed on to the G.I. Joe Team.
