Description: Flowering in the Botanical Gardens in Adelaide was these beautiful Lotus in full bloom. A pure delight to the eyes and I was able to capture them and share them with those that love beautiful things.

Description: The Adelaide botanical gardens are in all its glory in the Summer months with the beauty of the Lotus in full flower. Mesmerizing in all its finery and they gently sway in the area set aside for them. Capturing them with the camera is a sheer delight!

Description: SPIRIT OF PEACE Hybrid Tea ‘Spirit of Peace’ was released by Meilland International of France in 1995, to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the release of the famous Peace rose and mark the anniversary of the end of WWII. Amazingly South Australia was chosen as the location to release this beautiful rose to the world. It is appropriate in April, 2015, which coincides with the 100th Anniversary of Gallipoli, to select a rose associated with “peace” following war. Spirit of Peace is a tall Hybrid Tea rose growing up to 2 metres with attractive bright green healthy foliage. Description: By using up to 9 different images and blending these together I was able to give this flower a different perspective. Making it more 'art ' like I hope.
