In 2011 I designed and printed one of the first shirts I ever produced myself, "I Like It Spooky", which has since been stolen and reproduced countless times across the web. So I figured I'd update the design and improve on it, and this is that!

This is the 3rd version of this design; I like to update it every few years to reflect where my head's at artistically, and because it's just fun to do! SPOOKY 4 LIFE YA'LL!

I took the opportunity to create images heavily inspired by classic/vintage Halloween art and decorations, but with my own twists (particularly with regard to color). This was the image I created for the prompt "ZOMBIE".

As an artist who likes to draw and paint spooky things, I've mostly stayed away from depicting other people's characters. Then in the summer of 2015 I had this idea to do a series of portraits of characters that I like from movies and books centered around Halloween, and by mid-October I had completed 5. Fast forward to the Spring of 2017 and we have Series 2, featuring all female characters. This is Dani and Binx from the movie Hocus Pocus.
