Description: My interpretation of The Star, the 17th Major Arcana Card in the Tarot. It represents hope, inspiration, insight, courage, spiritual enlightenment, and deep healing, particularly following a period of difficulty. Some symbols I have incorporated include bleeding heart (finding beauty in pain, inspiration, healing), primrose (healing grief and heartache, hope amidst despair), firefly (inspiration, light in the darkness, joy, hope), moth (transformation), birch tree (rebirth, new beginnings, growth).

Description: Daisy is inspired by a sweet marionette. She dances in her garden, surrounded by her friends.

Description: Princess Taiping, daughter of Tang Dynasty Emperor Gaozong, twice suppressed mutinies inside the imperial court at critical times. Her name means "Princess of Peace".

Description: An elegant Japanese geisha doll in a purple kimono.

Description: The Amber Faerie lives deep in the gemstone forest, cultivating amber in the form of flowers and mushrooms, which she then distributes throughout the world. Amber is the stone of the zodiac signs Taurus and Leo, and is an alternate November birthstone. It represents eternal love, life and youth. It is also said to have many healing properties.

Description: Two little knitted rag dolls in Russian costumes have a tea party with a porcelain tea set from Russia. The teapot represents a toy soldier and the sugar bowl is a matryoshka. Dolls designed and made by Debi Cady.

Description: Malina is a little Russian rag doll. Her costume is based on those from the Kaluga and Moscow regions. Malina means "raspberry" in Russian.

Description: Fiona is fashion portrait of a lovely, intelligent brunette. She is interested in Celtic archaeology and folklore. She enjoys going to Faerie and Renaissance festivals, singing, dancing and travel.

Description: Inspired by an old travel poster, this illustration shows a Hawaiian girl with a tray of fruit waiting to welcome you to a tropical paradise.

Description: Rose-Marie is a fashion illustration inspired by the imperial Faberge Rose Trellis Egg from 1907, and Marie Antoinette. The egg was an Easter gift from Tsar Nicholas II to his wife, Alexandra Fyodorovna, and is made of green enamel with pink enamel roses and gold vines, and a latticework covered with rose-cut diamonds, with a large portrait diamond on either end of the egg.
