Description: Day Eleven of #Gizztober, LIZARD! 🦎 I was honestly pretty stumped with yesterdays #mabsdrawlloweenclub prompt. I could’ve just drawn a spider or something but I decided to participate in a different list instead! For this, I used @artdecho1985’s Gizztober list! Here is a lizard somewhat inspired by my Gila monster drawing, but with a different kind of lizard. The original artwork is 🆙 for grabs on my sh0p!
Description: when Tandy’s horn broke off, he did not let it discourage him. He thought “dang.. maybe I can make something out of this”, so he broke the tip off and hollered a true triceratops hoot. And thus, the trumpet was born. Crazy how the actions of one little triceratops can change history forever.
Description: If you don’t know already, I love records and bugs. This drawing came about a year or so ago when I first painted a record character on my sketchbook. The idea has been haunting me ever since! Recently, I have been intrigued by praying mantises. They are such beautifully deadly creatures and I just love that about them. They look like aliens from a distant galaxy or something like that. Anyways, I thought I’d combine the two subjects and this is what came from it. I tried to give him a color scheme similar to Mickey Mouse to give him a “friendly” or “relatable” quality. Although he looks friendly, I wouldn’t touch him with a 10 foot pole. Be careful if you see this dude lurking in your local record store.
