Description: The 52nd ADA saw service in France in WWI, WWII, the Korean War and the Vietnam War. During the Cold War they were unique in that they were deployed to Florida during the Cuban Missile Crisis and remained there to defend the Miami Sector against air attack... with atomic warhead-equipped Nike missiles, if necessary.
Description: Single-sided design. 44th ADA traces its lineage back to WWI, where it saw service with the Coast Artillery Corps in France. They returned to France in 1944 and units saw service in the Pacific as well. The 44th was in action in Korea throughout the fighting and also throughout the Vietnam War.

In WWII its batteries saw action in France and Germany as well as the Pacific. In the 1980s 43rd ADA battalions were reactivated and equipped with the then-new Patriot surface-to-air missile system and during Operation Desert Storm units of the 43rd Air Defense Artillery made history when they successfully intercepted an Iraqi ballistic missile in combat. 43rd ADA batteries have since served in Operations Southern Watch and Iraqi Freedom.

The unit also saw credible service during Korea and Vietnam, including the Tet Counteroffensive.

Description: During Operation Iraqi Freedom the Multi-National Corps Iraq (MNCI) formed an Information Operations Task Force to combat enemy disinformation and misinformation and to reach target audiences with positive information about the Coalition. IOn effect, we wanted the insurgents to dance to OUR tune instead of the other way around. What better nickname could we have than Task Force Scopitone, named after the crazy multilingual music videos of the 1960s! The "badge" incorporated twin palm trees as a frame, a sword with a lightning bolt signified information as a weapon and the snake being hit with it represented the insurgency.
Description: During Desert Shield and Desert Storm the 2nd Battalion of the 1st Air Defense Artillery deployed with the Hawk surface-to-air missile system. Among many of the incidents that took place was The Big Jump West, the destruction of one of the HIPIRs, scud alerts, a chemical "attack" and the slow convoy north into Iraq. 2-1 ADA was also equipped with the Alpha system, a secret weapon which used passive monitoring to detect and destroy enemy aircraft.

She doesn't see the irony of conservative-bashing pundits telling everyone how irrational other conservatives were for not voting for her... because she's EXTREMELY conservative.
