Description: I love this simple yet elegant pattern. I was inspired by the amazing glass structure of Harpa, one of the most important monuments in Reykjavik! I recreate how the sun shatters different reflections on the glass.

Description: Rowan is a common plant in Iceland and is another tree associated with the Norse god Thor. It is said to have protected him against a great flood. Rowan is perhaps the most magical of the trees, believed to be the tree of witchcraft and fairy magic and frequently used in magic potions.

It is a part of Icelandic culture, and a peculiar part of the “local knowledge”: but also extremely up to date because of the recent situation with the world pandemic first, and all the other troubles that keep affecting our world and our lives. It is a positive message, it is from Iceland, the land of the N-ice!

Description: Iceland is very much linked to its weather. Unpredictable, moody, surprisingly harsh or filled with rainbows and sunny spells! I have created an abstract artwork with technical symbols of precipitations, that I find cute and decorative.

Description: The shape of Iceland takes the place of the famous prism, as it actually behaves like one, reflecting light in million of rainbows pretty much all year around. The prism has also a meaning of divine, of enlightment and knowledge, and here probably still has, in the shape of Iceland, as getting to know it through traveling, and discovering its marvellous spots, is itself a great experience that many (including me) don’t manage to find the words for this wonder.
