I photographed this cutie a few months ago, it was sneaking into the bird feeder at a friends house and I couldn’t wait to draw it! House mice are common small rodents with large round ears, long tail and a pointed snout. Their fur is short and brown. Drawn using pigma sakura microns, with one of my own photographs as reference. This tiny mouse was cleaning itself when I took the photograph, which allowed me to capture this cute pose!

The Scimitar oryx, or Sahara oryx are a species of antelope that sadly are extinct in the wild. Once found across North Africa, these oryxes have a white coat with red brown markings. All oryx species have amazing long horns.

I created this drawing using one of my own photographs as reference, and whilst watching the sloth I was surprised at how fast they can climb! Their famed slowness is actually based on their slow metabolism. The Linnaeus's two-toed sloth is one of the six living sloth species which spend most of their lives hanging upside down in the trees of tropical rainforests in South and Central America.

Praying mantis is the common name for a group of insects called Mantises or Mantodea which are found worldwide although most are found in tropical habitats. These bugs are commonly kept as pets.

Most walks in the countryside and farm land in Britain awards the sight of at least one field of cows, this particular calf was part of a large herd roaming wild in Dartmoor National Park. South Devon cattle are a native breed of cattle to the UK, they are a large breed of beef cattle with beautiful copper red fur.

Description: Black and white animal ink illustration of a rockhopper penguin. Drawn using one of my own photographs as reference, I used Sakura pigma micron marker pens to create this drawing. Penguins are aquatic flightless birds, all of who have wings that have adapted into flippers suitable for their marine environment. Rockhopper penguins are vulnerable species of crested penguin found around the coasts of South America and the Pacific and Indian oceans.

Drawn using one of my own photographs as reference, I used mostly Sakura pigma micron marker pens and a brush pen for the darkest areas. The Grévy's zebra is the largest of the three species of zebra and is distinctive due to it's narrow stripes and large ears. They live in the semi-arid grasslands of Kenya and Ethiopia, Africa. They are an endangered species with estimated less than 3000 left in the wild.

Snow leopards (Panthera uncia) are a vulnerable species of big cat native to the mountain ranges of Central and South Asia. Their fur is very thick and is white underneath, blending to a mottled grey, they have black spots on their heads and feet which gradually become larger and form large rosettes on the back and tail.
