Description: My muse has been quiet of late. I needed inspiration and found it in the aesthetics of Mondrian. I recalled the joy of producing such works as a child, without knowledge of rules nor form. Using Mondrian's rules, I created this work in Corel. Paintbrush marks have been deliberately left raw in this piece, so add an organic element to the work.

Description: A basket of cute, graphic stars. Collected just for you. Bold, clean stars in bright shades of cyan, magenta and lemon. When trying to name this work, the song Vincent popped into my head. Far too elevated a name for this cutie, I decided upon Vinnie Star instead. Created in Krita, with a clear background which can be changed upon request.
Description: A riot of neon colours burst through the midnight Plant, turning night into day. Your eyes adjust to your new world of bright colour, which blazes its arrival in your retinas and heart. This marbled creation is inspired by 80s aesthetics, neon colour schemes and was created in Corel.
Description: He was minding his own business, just taking the dog for a walk before bed, when he saw it. He decided to take a different route home that night. Photograph of some skeleton miniatures that I own, shot on a destroyed city set. Holding my breath and a lot of patience was required to set this shot up. This has been edited in RAW and Photoshop.

A goth inspired, free-hand marble pattern created in Corel Painter. The colour scheme for this piece is mostly red, black, grey and white with hidden touches of violet and sea foam green.

Having produced these elemental symbols previously, I wanted to do something a little different. My aim here was to create a dark, dangerous looking version of these traditional symbols. Earth, air, fire & water (spirit has been omitted from this one for design balance reasons). Description: A moment of perfectly suspended silence and beauty. Each window shows details of the life lived behind it, without a glimpse of any resident. Struck by inspiration one evening, I grabbed my sketchbook and pencil. I rarely am inspired to sketch without reference, but I found these shapes came easily. I wanted to emulate a handpainted, with ink outline feel to this work. Natural, imperfect textures were important in this painting. This scene is entirely imagined. During the long creation process, I was told that my scene resembled old Germanic architecture. The name of this piece was gifted to me by a lovely person on Twitter. Description: Lyra is a freshly baked gingerbread star, decorated with icing and tiny, aniseed flavoured, silver balls. I’m not much of a fan of twee Xmas things, but I do enjoy gingerbread. I wanted Lyra to look as soft baked and delicious as possible, so chose soft ginger colours to reflect this. This gingerbread star was baked in Photoshop :)
Description: Terrance is a freshly baked gingerbread tree, decorated with icing and tiny, aniseed flavoured, multicoloured, metallic balls. I’m not much of a fan of twee Xmas things, but I do enjoy gingerbread. I wanted Terrance to look as soft baked and delicious as possible, so chose soft ginger colours to reflect this. The decorations on Terrance are created to look like fairy lights that were made out of multicoloured, metallic balls which were stuck in place with tiny blobs of icing. This is my most complex gingerbread yet. This gingerbread tree was baked in Photoshop :)
