Description: Lyra is a freshly baked gingerbread star, decorated with icing and tiny, aniseed flavoured, silver balls. I’m not much of a fan of twee Xmas things, but I do enjoy gingerbread. I wanted Lyra to look as soft baked and delicious as possible, so chose soft ginger colours to reflect this. This gingerbread star was baked in Photoshop :)

The decorations on Terrance are created to look like fairy lights that were made out of multicoloured, metallic balls which were stuck in place with tiny blobs of icing. This is my most complex gingerbread yet. This gingerbread tree was baked in Photoshop :)

Description: Large unpolished chunks of rose quartz and gold leaf were my main colour inspirations for this work. Touches of blue & lilac were added to brighten the canvas. A community of gem loving gnomes made this work whilst watching re-runs of Dynasty. Rich! Another of my marbled paintings created using Photoshop & Corel.

This version contains dark orange with deep green fuzzy hearts on a pale orange background. I wanted a simple, clean high end feel to this pattern with a touch of fuzzy fun.
