Shuttered in 1915 during WWI, the American Meerschaum and Pipe Company had been reformed out of receivership from the American Meerschaum Company to be the only mining in the United States of Meerschaum. It has never reopened. This logo is an homage to a bygone era where the potential of American meerschaum pipes could have been.

The Mark V diving helmet is the classical helmet that everyone thinks about when they envision a diving helmet. In 1912 the US Navy assigned a diver, Gunner George D. Stillson to research, design, test, and evaluate diving equipment and procedures. This research led to the Mark V being produced in 1916 through 1984.
