Description: The word karaweik comes from Pali karavika (ကရဝီက), which is a mythical bird with a melodious cry. The royal barge was an important ceremonial possession of the Burmese monarchy, and was used for ceremonial and state affairs, such as a procession around the royal palace moat following a monarch's coronation. By the Konbaung dynasty, several types of royal state barges existed, each distinguished by a specific mythical figurehead at the front of the barge, and each allocated to different members of the royal court.

Description: The Rangoon Turf Club, once a famous racing stable and social institution during colonial days are now inhabited, possibly by spiders and trees. No galloping sounds are heard anymore. But one can imagine and revisit yesteryears with this logo designed and inspired by the past.
Description: Colonial Yangon, with its spacious parks and lakes and mix of modern buildings and traditional wooden architecture, was known as "the garden city of the East". By the early 20th century, Yangon had public services and infrastructure on par with London. And this legacy has inspired us to create logos based on the days gone by.
Description: The Royal Hotel at 619 Merchant Street (the corner of Merchant Street and Brooking Street) was built in 1905. It was once one the three top hotels in the city, together with the Strand and Minto Mansions and prided itself on being the "most modern", with the first electric lift of any hotel. The handsome restaurant downstairs was the scene of many historic meetings. The original owner, JW Darwood, also built the Strand Hotel (text by Lost Footsteps). Revisit the yesteryears of travel with this logo inspired by vintage hotel luggage labels.
