Las Vegas Club was a hotel and casino located on the Fremont Street Experience in downtown Las Vegas, Nevada. The Las Vegas Club opened in 1930, joining the Las Vegas Hotel which had opened in 1908. The Las Vegas Club was relocated across the street in 1949. At its new location, the Las Vegas Club operated within the Overland Hotel, which was established in 1905.

Honest Johns was a small casino located on where the Bonanza Gift Shop is today on the Las Vegas, Strip in Winchester, Nevada. The hotel opened in 1960 as a liquor store, then reopened in 1972 as a casino, making it one of the first casinos in Las Vegas that originates as a store. The casino closed in 1978. This was only one of the three Honest John's Casinos in the Las Vegas area, one of which becoming Lady Luck in the 1970s.

The Enlightened Society for Global Transformation sign is from the third part of the trilogy, Theater of Time. The films helped the Luxor go beyond mere appropriation of ancient Egyptian imagery and presented a fictionalized account of the Luxor hotel site, depicting the past, present and future.

Drag racer Dick Olsen started Competition Fiberglass in Bellflower, California sometime in the mid '60s. From scoops and spoilers to cowl hoods and complete flopper bodies, Competition Fiberglass did it all and built quite a name for themselves along the way.

The Desert Inn, also known as the D.I., was a hotel and casino on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada, which operated from April 24, 1950, to August 28, 2000 it was the fifth resort to open on the Strip The closure of the Desert Inn in 2000 and subsequent demolition was unpopular with many as it seemed to mark the end of old Las Vegas. Historian Michael Green stated: "To a lot of people outside of Las Vegas, these two places (the Desert Inn and the Sands) really meant Las Vegas. These were the places that represent the images of Las Vegas, in a far greater way than the Dunes, the Aladdin, the Hacienda and the Landmark

he El Morocco started out as a bar with slot machines on the West side of Las Vegas; when it opened in 1945 it was one of the few places where African-Americans could go to gamble in Las Vegas. This was a time when African-Americans were not allowed inside of the casinos in downtown Las Vegas or on the nascent strip. the El Morocco stood out as one club that although its history was brief was not totally forgotten by the passage of time.

Drag race starting times by the flagman in the early days were not uniformly accurate, so a new timing system could hopefully be developed to correct the problems and ensure a fair race. As the story goes, Chrondek Corporation founder Oilver Riley was approached in 1962 with an idea of a step-light countdown system. LaVerne, California-based Chrondek was already working on portable timing systems before this proposal, and began refocusing their efforts to include what is now known as the standard Christmas Tree, which was debuted by Chrondek at the 1963 U.S. Nationals in Indianapolis, Indiana.

The Landmark was a hotel and casino located in Winchester, Nevada, east of the Las Vegas Strip and across from the Las Vegas Convention Center. The resort included a 31-floor tower, inspired by the design of the Space Needle tower in Seattle. Frank Caroll, the project's original owner, purchased the property in 1961. Billionaire Howard Hughes, through Hughes Tool Company, purchased the Landmark in 1969

the Lotus Inn Motor Hotel & Casino was located at 1213 Las Vegas Blvd. South in Las Vegas, NV from the years of 1973 until 1978. It wasn't a huge place and boasted a Japanese temple exterior similar to that of the Imperial Palace which would open just a year after the Lotus Inn closed.

Vegas World was a space-themed casino and hotel on Las Vegas Boulevard in Las Vegas, Nevada. It was owned and operated by Bob Stupak, and was also signed as Bob Stupak's Vegas World. Stupak initially opened a small casino, Bob Stupak's World Famous Million-Dollar Historic Gambling Museum and Casino, on the property in 1974, but it was destroyed in a fire later that year.
