Description: This image is created from an original acrylic painting in canvas, made by me - Emily John Garces. I set out to create a more historically accurate version of Jesus. I looked to the piece by Bas Uterwijd for inspiration and to work by scholars who have investigated the most probable sort of appearance that Jesus might have had.
