You simultaneously stood still, yet rushed through time, sleepy, hungry, lonely, pensive, anxious about everything in life but strangely at peace. Sometimes you numbly stood like another fixture on the ship till you heard a voice on the sound powered phones “Aft lookout! You awake! Report!!”
