Description: We had been staying in Buxton, Derbyshire, primarily to spend some time in the Peak District National Park. However, we also knew of Buxton's history as a spa town, the Midland's answer to Bath, and couldn't help but notice some of the grand building around the town. Buxton was a destination town for those who wanted to take in the spa waters, but when not bathing, a grand opera house would be a fine addition, nay a cultural highlight, of such a visit. The opera house, according to Wikipedia, was built in 1903. What I love about the image, is the dynamic viewpoint I was able to obtain, where a wide angle let me capture the main elements of the building's facade. Anyway, I do hope you enjoy the image.

He is befriended by Ellis "Red" Redding, an inmate and prison contraband smuggler serving a life sentence. Red procures a rock hammer and a large poster of Rita Hayworth for Andy. Assigned to work in the prison laundry, Andy is frequently sexually assaulted by "the Sisters" and their leader, Bogs.
