Description: WWII leaflet dropped on Japanese occupied Philippines warning the population that the Allied invasion will begin soon. The reverse of the leaflet had instructions for the Filipinos to stay away from all Japanese held positions and to move as far inland as possible. The design is available in white or deep blue. Description: C. 1935 California luggage label which reads ' Santa Catalina Island, Out in the Blue Pacific '. Very colorful design depicting people enjoying the beach, palm trees, sail boat and homes overlooking the ocean. I have many other vintage California designs available.
Description: C. 1950 Hawaiian print which reads ' Aloha, Territory of Hawaii, U.S.A, Paradise of the Pacific ' and depicts a native Hawaiian man surfing. I have two variations of this design uploaded and other vintage Hawaiian prints available in my shop.
Description: 1876 print depicting the coat of arms from the great state of Maryland. Along the black banner is the state motto of " Fatti maschii parole femine " or " strong deeds, gentle words ". A second motto along the bottom banner " Scuto Bonae Voluntatis Tuae Coronasti Nos " translates to " With favor Wilt Thou Compass Us as a Shield ".
Description: The official logo of the Panama Pacific International Exposition held in San Francisco in 1915. Essentially a World's Fair, the expo was a celebration of both the completion of the Panama Canal and the 400th anniversary of Balboa's discovery of the Pacific Ocean. It also helped showcase the city's recovery from the earthquake of 1906.
